The sound, cinema and photo documentaries collected and displayed at the information center and museum, show and denounce the ideologized Soviet propaganda culture, pseudo-science, the aims, mechanism and forms of the Soviet ideology and propaganda, and disclose the genocide of the Lithuanian nation.

This museum was established in the former Samogitian Theological Seminary. It is a state financed public cultural institution. Its founders are the Telšiai diocese and the Lithuanian Ministry of Culture. The Museum initiates projects related to the protection of the cultural heritage, and seeks to include the Lithuanian public in their implementation.
